On December 18, at around 4:40 p.m., a case of a suspicious person approached a female junior high school student leaving school in Isumi City, persistently asking her where she was going.
The suspicious person is described as a man about 60 years old,

wearing a green jumper
brown pants
.
The Isumi Police Department has received a report of a suspicious person and is stepping up its vigilance.
We ask that everyone in the community cooperate in keeping a watchful eye on the safety of our children with the eyes of the community.
Parents and guardians are requested to make sure that their children say "no," "no," and "iki-nai," and to confirm "where to go," "who is accompanying you," and "when to return home" when going out, and to have them carry a crime prevention buzzer or cell phone.
